Nourish Flourish

Sometimes you can’t get outside and that’s okay.

If you can’t get out but you still want to have a little look at some mini beasts (and maybe a few other creatures), this page is for you.

Enjoy the buzzing of the honeybees foraging for nectar in the soft blue hues of the ceanothus flowers and just relax. Can you imagine the soft spring sunshine on your back? Maybe you can smell freshly mown grass? We all need some restorative time in nature; I hope this helped you de-stress. #lovenature #selfcare #savethebees #gardeningforwildlife #mindfulness #therapeutic #rest #peace

It’s hard filming wildlife on your phone 😂 Especially when they are so tiny, shy & fast! It was a miracle in itself that I actually had my phone on me when I spotted this little chap, well the moving grass in my garden! A little patience paid off; hopefully we’ll meet again! #fieldvole #naturelovers #cuteanimals #funnyanimals #animalbehaviour #nourishflourishuk #britishnature #gardeningforwildlife

Moorhens are very shy, I was lucky enough to film this brood of three chicks. Listen out for their mother telling them to move away from danger (me!). Unlike ducks, they do not have webbed feet; just bulbous toes. This is why they make jerky movements when they swim, as they work harder to propel themselves along. #moorhens #chicks #babybirds #cutebirds #getoutside #naturelovers #nourishflourishuk #calm

He gave a small shake, resetting himself, then walked towards me with quiet purpose. Inspecting. Not afraid. Not tame. Just aware. Looking at what had changed. What I’d moved. What I’d left. Gardening, when done gently, becomes less about control and more about conversation. You learn to listen with your eyes. You learn that every small decision matters to someone else. The wildlife gardener’s journals grew from these quiet exchanges. A way to honour both nervous systems and natural systems. They’re here if you’d like to explore: https://nourishflourishuk.com/good-things/ #gardeninggently #wildlifegardener #foxvisitor #natureheals #coexistence
