Small business. Big belief in doing good.
Nourish Flourish UK is a small independent creative business. We don’t have a corporate responsibility department, a big budget or a grand charitable giving programme.
But we do have a genuine belief that even a little help can go a long way.
Supporting charities, community organisations and projects that make a positive difference isn’t a marketing exercise or a box to tick. It’s part of why Nourish Flourish UK exists in the first place.
Whether that’s supporting mental health, making nature and creativity more accessible, creating opportunities for people to share their stories, or helping organisations reach a few more people, I believe small contributions can become part of something much bigger.
We might not be able to change everything, but we can choose to make a difference where we can.
And that’s worth doing.
Vale Wildlife Hospital
Vale Wildlife Hospital is a local organisation doing fantastic work to care for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.
I’ve taken several casualties to them over the years, including a woodpecker, ducklings and an adult mallard, and I’ve also contacted them for advice when I’ve needed help with other wildlife encounters.
Every time, I’ve been grateful for their knowledge, care and kindness. They do brilliant work, and the people behind it are lovely.
Supporting Vale Wildlife Hospital is a way of giving something back to an organisation that makes a real difference to the wildlife in our local area. ❤️
Mind
Mental health matters, and everyone deserves the opportunity to access support when they need it.
Through Nourish Flourish UK, I support Mind’s work to make mental health support, information and understanding more accessible.
Our Talking Heads men’s anxiety journal was created to encourage reflection, open up conversations and remind men that they’re not alone. £2.50 from every copy sold goes to Mind.
It’s a small contribution, but I believe small things can add up to something meaningful. Supporting mental health isn’t about promising to fix everything; it’s about helping make sure support is there when people need it.
Donations from Talking Heads sales are made to Mind through Work for Good.
Stepway
Stepway has a personal connection for me, having previously visited regularly when it was affiliated with Pershore College/WCG.
Today, Stepway supports veterans in the local community, using creative and practical activities to encourage connection, wellbeing and new opportunities. These include gardening, nature-based activities, arts and crafts, and other ways to explore interests, build confidence and spend time with others.
I love the idea of using creativity, nature and shared experiences to support people and help them flourish. It’s work that sits close to the values behind Nourish Flourish UK.
